In classical TCM, food as medicine, is based upon five principals of qualification: Heating, warming, neutral, cooling and cold foods.
All foods can be grouped between two energies: Yin / cooling – moisten the body & Yang / heating – drying the body. Preferably we consume a measured array of colors, tastes and energies: Sourced wisely, prepared deliciously, consumed in a beneficial manner.
